The program concluded with a powerful theatre performance, “Swikarokti“, presented by Baranagar Srot Natya Academy, leaving the audience deeply moved and inspired.
This unforgettable beginning laid the foundation for everything Theaolitt stands for — a platform where talent meets tribute, and art finds its voice.

Theaolitt hosted a special program at the historic Town Hall, Basirhat on 13th August, 2022, a heartfelt celebration of voices, vision, and literary passion. The event was graced by theatre personality and actor Shyamal Chakraborty as the special guest.
The event featured 45 emerging writers, each presenting their own original poems, filling the hall with powerful words and emotions. Alongside them, we proudly felicitated editors of 4 newspapers, as well as 1 creative YouTubers for his contributions to storytelling and content creation.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of Theaolitt’s first Debidas Bhattacharyya Special Achievement Award, to writer Samudra Biswas, honouring his inspiring work in literature.
It was an evening of recognition, expression, and encouragement — true to the Spirit of Theaolitt.

Theaolitt hosted a warm and engaging Boithok at Kholapota, Basirhat on 1st March, 2023, bringing together 15 emerging writers for a day of creativity, conversation, and connection.
The gathering was an intimate exchange of ideas, stories, and literary dreams celebrating the power of words in a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere. The session was followed by a delicious lunch, adding a flavour of togetherness to the heartfelt event.
This Boithok reflected Theaolitt’s commitment to nurturing talent and building a community where writers feel supported and recognised.

MOHE RANG DE
Theaolitt’s annual celebration Mohe Rang De brought together a vibrant blend of music, dance, and theatre in a soulful tribute to the arts.
The evening began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana by Deepika Murthy, followed by an elegant inauguration dance Ganapati Vandana by Arpita Banerjee. Energetic contemporary performances by Additiya Sengupta added rhythm and flair, leading to a powerful finale with the theatre act Better Half by Smarannik, Bangalore.
The night also honoured excellence through Theaolitt’s Special Achievement Award. A vibrant evening where stories came alive — both on stage and in spirit.

Instituted in memory of Debidas Bhattacharyya, the Debidas Smriti Samman Award honours exceptional contributions to theatre and the performing arts.
1st award was presented to television and theatre actor Bapi Karmakar on 15th February 2021, at Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata.
2nd award was presented to Director-Actor Anindo Sarkar on 15th February 2022 at the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata.
3rd award was presented to renowned television actor Krishnakishor Mukherjee on 15th February 2023 at Rabindra Sadan, Kolkata.
4th award was presented to renowned theatre actor Shankar Ghosh on 28th February 2024 at Madhusudan Mancha, Kolkata.
5th award was presented to theatre actor-director Lopamudra Guha Neogi on 15th February 2025 at the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata

3rd Award given to Renowned Television & Film Actor, Dancer, Singer, and Social Media Fashion Icon Monami Ghosh for her outstanding achievements, including her music video VITAMIN M and “Ailo Uma Barite.
4th Award presented to IT Professional Supriyo Batabyal, who overcame numerous physical challenges to become a Marathoner, recognized for his inspiring contributions.
